"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."
The groundbreaking for the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial is today in DC. I spent my freshman year of college at Villanova University, where we studied some of Dr. King's writing and speeches. Everyone has heard parts of the famous "I have a dream" speech, but his other writings were most interesting to me. Here's "Letter from Birmingham Jail."
