Hmm. This is always true, no matter which party is in office. Gerrymandering always solidifies the safety of incumbent seats.
This one, however, I agree with:
"MYTH: The election was all about the war.
"REALITY: It's the dishonesty, stupid."

I read that quote in Time and double underlined it. :) I liked how they used a blue salamander as the graphic for the gerrymandering summary.
