HTML and Me

Blogger has had some glitches lately, so I've had to teach myself some html. I was annoyed at first, but it's turned out to be really interesting. As an added benefit, I don't have to depend on Blogger's shortcut "compose" buttons if they aren't working correctly.

At this rate, I'll be writing programs and creating computer viruses in no time. Just kidding.

Correction - I'm guessing you intended for that to be a comma not a period, since everyone knows you should not begin a sentence with "so" and it wasn't capitalized.

Geeze, some people annoy me. Can't she just express? Does it always have to be perfect? A small typo. Get over it.

But it was my typo, and I'll fix it.

When someone's built built themselves a little empire on grammar, it seems only fair to point out the occasional error (typographical or no).

Also, it's entirely plausible to properly construct a sentence beginning with the word 'So.'

I think it's perfectly acceptable and expected that sharon will make a grammar error now and then, but given the fact that she started a group called "I judge you when you use poor grammar" and has written a book on that topic, it is also only to be expected for others to point it out when she does make a mistake. So yes, 3:29, she can express, but unless she is being entirely hypocritical she must expect others to judge / correct her when she does express.

Every commenter on this post, including Sharon, has missed a significant, overarching point.

Context.

This is a blog post from Empress of the Divine Anglo-Saxon Grammar Empire. The key phrase in the preceding sentence is "blog post." Welcome to the intarwebz.

Do not fuck with me on this point. I enjoy bloodplay.
