Isnt the main point of giving out a business card so they have your contact info? Why would you not want to have the right number then? Unless you rarely give out the cards, or don't really use them for business opportunities much, then maybe don't worry about it, but I would advise definitly order new ones. I'm sure they don't cost that much and it would look bad to have the wrong number if someone tried to call you back.
That's true. I do most of my business networking online, so I assumed that the email address was the most important part. But there's no use giving out a card with incorrect information. I'll just order the new ones.
Suck it up and order new cards with the correct number. I'm sure you'd hate to miss out on an opportunity just because you gave out a business card with the wrong number on it.
Or, sign up for Google's Grandcentral.com and see if your "old" # is available. You will have a virtual # to give out (or put on cards) that rings as many actual #s as you wish ... mine rings my cell and land lines. You also get voicemails through e-mail.
Sorry if I sound like a commercial but I really love this service.
Glad you'll be ordering new business cards, but you might want to keep a small stash of the old cards with the wrong phone number in your wallet, for those particularly creepy people who not only press way too hard for your card, but actually make your skin crawl. Just an idea.
