The motorcycle cop has been hiding near the law school a lot lately writing tickets to students (end of the month, I guess). So be on the look out. He seems to be hiding the most at the stop sign near the track stadium on the shortcut road between Hackberry and the parking lot. Also, he has been getting speeders on Bryant behind Newk's and near the main entrance to the law school.
Thank you!

What a fine upstanding student.
Police don't have quotas anymore, at least last I checked, so the end of the month comment is absolutely wrong. ;)
Google "police officer ticket quotas" and many news articles come up.
Here's a good one:

I know it's a bit old. Strange part is that I thought "2002 isn't that long ago," then I realized, it was almost a decade ago.
Ah, but are the articles about how police no longer have ticket quotas? Why they were abolished? Just because things come up in Google, that doesn't mean the context is what is being looked for, or that they are correct. :P
So is this some sort of alternate universe where if a governmental entity states it does something, it really happens?
I have a number of friends in law enforcement and none of them have ticket quotas. So unless this is the Twilight Zone, the answer to your question is that yes, government entities actually do what they say they do in this case. :P
Oh, anecdotal evidence now equates to pure, unvarnished truth. Twilight Zone it is.
Because we all know that the news is never wrong, and they all know the policies of law enforcement better than those who actually work in law enforcement.
Appreciate this bllog post
