By the Way,,,

Without Wikipedia-ing it, does anyone know what Bama Bombs are?

The recipe I always heard was cherries soaked in Everclear grain alcohol, but I suppose bourbon would taste better. I think I had heard of them some time ago from my Alabama friends, but I know I read about them in Warren St. John's "Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer."

Sharon, you must have had some of those bombs between 7:01 pm and 8:53 pm, the time of your post above. That is because, at 7:01 pm on this same blog, you wrote the following answer to your above question:

"I just made Bama Bombs, which are cherries soaked in bourbon"

So my answer is this:

Bama Bombs are cherries soaked in bourbon.

Also, alcohol use leads to short-term memory loss.

You also used three commas in a row after your title, so i'm guessing more than a few of those bombs were consumed. Maybe a note to self is appropriate; don't drink and blog.

Hahaha, especially with my audience. And I thought I covered it well!

New group - I judge you when you drink, blog and write stupid posts.

The anonymous poster at 7:34 pm used a semicolon in an appropriate manner. It is clear from the intent of that final sentence that a colon should have been used instead.

7:34 pm should write this note to himself: semicolons are not colons. Semicolons should not be used in place of colons.

In addition, the anonymous poster at 11:25 am used a dash in an inappropriate manner. It is clear from the intent of that sentence that a colon should have been used instead.

11:25 am should write this note to himself: dashes are not colons. Dashes should not be used in place of colons.
