DIaBEEtis
Have you seen that Liberty Medical commercial with the semi-large man talking about diabetes? He pronounces it "DIaBEEtis." He also talks about how diet and exercise can help, and I can't help but think, "Why doesn't he take his own advice?" If ever there were a sedentary man, that is him. And riding a horse does not count as exercise.

Note that he appeared in those horrible Ewok movies that were spinoffs of the original Star Wars films. He also used to appear in Quaker Oatmeal ads.
It's Wilford Brimley.
He was in Walker Texas Ranger... he has some great clips that Conan had on his show

Uh... so you're making fun of Wilford Brimley for being fat? And for pronouncing diabetes in one generally accepted manner? I don't get it.
Wilford Brimley was NOT in Walker Texas Ranger. That was some other fat, elderly mustached man with a contrived southern accent. Brimley, on the other hand, was a ranch hand, body guard for Howard Hughes, and, later in life, an actor. He has killed nearly ten men, excluding Chinese, of course.
Often, people (especially those with diabetes) are fat, even though they eat right and exercise.
It's pronounced "DIABEETUS."
